Wild Rice Cheese Soup
1 cup wild rice or 2 cups frozen. I have also used canned.
1 small onion, chopped fine
1/2# bacon cooked and crumbled
2 cans cream of potato soup
1 quart 1/2 and 1/2
1# velveeta chees cut into small pieces
Cook rice as directed or thaw if frozen. In a large pot combine
all the ingredients and cook over low heat, stirring often, until
soup is hot and cheese is completly melted. Serves 12.
