Play-Doh

2 cups water
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
4 teaspoons cream of tarter
2 tablespoons oil
Food coloring

Put all of the ingredients into a heavy pan. Cook and stir over medium heat until dough is the consistency of very lumpy mashed potatoes. Cool and knead. Knead in desired food coloring(s) - on wax paper or something to protect counter. If too dry, add a little water.
