PINEAPPLE CAKE
Preheat oven to 300°. Lightly grease and flour a 9x13-inch pan.
Combine: 2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 cups sugar
Add: 1 can crushed pineapple
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Pour mixture into pan and sprinkle 1/4 cup brown sugar over the top
of the
cake just before baking. Bake for one hour.
Glaze: 1/2 cup evaporated milk
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
Bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla and 1/2 cup
chopped
nuts. Pour glaze over warm cake.
